Mad River Rocket Sled

This product was originally developed by an architect in Vermont whose son had an idea for a thrilling new sled that could sail through snow covered glades and hills, with the rider in full control. Still in production, this highly manuverable sled was thermoformed from tough polyethylene and polycarbonate. Thermoforming was the affordable option for a visionary entrepenuer who thought he could build a business from the simple idea of a controllable kneeboard for snow sledding. His partnership with Universal Plastics, with our design assistance and turn key manufacturing service, was the key to making his vision a reality.
