Faced with mounting losses from patient claims for lost items, Baystate Health Systems turned to Universal Plastics to design a low cost, easy to recognize, and easy to seal Patient Belongings Clamshell.  Now when patients arrive with personal belongings, they are immediately sealed in a clamshell package with the patients name for safekeeping.  Theft or misplaced item claims were dramatically reduced.
