Universal Plastics opens a new warehouse!

Universal Plastics recently opened a 35,000 sq, ft. addtion to our main plant for warehousing. Where we previously used off-site storage, we now have a state-of-the-art warehouse right within our main manufacturing facility. The new warehouse is designed to require a minimum of labor to move product, consisitent with lean principles. This allows us to move molds and materials more quickly and efficiently to better service our customers. And with material prices rising so frequently these days, we now are in a better position to store raw material to insure level pricing.
