Dear Valued Customer,

We hope that you are all staying healthy and safe during the current COVID-19 outbreak.

Universal Plastics has been monitoring the current situation closely with two priorities in mind – minimizing any potential disruption to our valued customers and keeping our employees safe and healthy.

At this time, all of Universal Plastics’ 5 sites have been deemed ‘essential services’ by their respective state governments and all remain operating.

We have no plans to shut down our facilities at this time. Our ‘essential services’ status applies to all of the following facilities: Albany NY, Holyoke MA, Latrobe PA, Middlefield OH, Sutton MA.

Universal Plastics is following all the necessary and recommended protocols from government agencies to prevent the spread of the virus to our employees and to the wider community while maintaining our commitment to providing you with high quality parts and exceptional customer service. These health protocols include requiring employees to stay home if they are feeling sick, practicing social distancing at our facilities, provision of gloves and sanitizing agents, travel restrictions, restrictions on face to face meetings, frequent hand washing , etc.

Our ask of you is that you help us in our business planning by communicating any changes to your open orders or forecasts so that we may plan and service you effectively. Please also let us know of any changes in your business operations that may affect delivery.

Please be assured that we continue to closely monitor the situation and will keep you informed proactively of any developments.

Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your Customer Service or Sales Representative or myself.

During these times of uncertainty, we would like to work closely with you and we would like to thank you again for the opportunity to serve you and to do business with you.

Sincerely,

Jay Kumar
