Universal Plastics is a leading expert in manufacturing large, complex parts for the medical, aerospace, recreational products, outdoor lawn equipment, construction, agricultural, traffic, and communications markets.

Universal Plastics is a custom plastic products manufacturer with expertise in a range of processes, including custom thermoforming, injection molding (gas assist and structural foam) and blow molding. We pride ourselves on our ability to offer unbiased, process-agnostic advice and multiple production processes for high mix / low volumes, low mix / high volumes and the breadth in between. All the manufacturing sites within the Universal Plastics family share a long history of providing their customers with high quality, large, complex molded parts and are known for outstanding customer service and engineering support. Each has dedicated staff, operating facilities and processes.

Large Thermoformed Parts:

Universal Plastics has the largest thermoforming machines in the Northeastern US, with the ability to form parts as large as 9’ x 12’. Universal Plastics’ large part thermoforming capabilities allow us to form many materials that previously had to be made of sheet metal or molded fiberglass, or a combination of multiple parts. Universal’s thermoformed large plastic parts are the logical upgrade from sheet metal or fiberglass when parts, panels, housings and enclosures are needed that must be durable and attractive, yet lightweight and affordable. A part formerly built out of many smaller parts can be thermoformed by Universal to be a single, large, lightweight, highly aesthetic and cost-effective thermoformed plastic part.
